Anyone have/seen this? I was thinking about picking up a copy, but I figured I would ask if anyone had any feedback on them. Thanks.

You should check it out. The Strobist DVD's and the Nikon Creative Guide to Lighting are two of my favorites. Dave

David's Strobist site is excellent but IMO the DVD set was a sleeper, poorly presented, and agonizing to watch. Aside from poor presentation the images that David makes in the DVD are pretty bad. I agree with Rich. Whether you're a strobist or not I was not impressed and actually fell asleep a few times while watching. Robert

Feb 25, 2009 18:53 | #5 Thanks for the replies guys. I had actually seen the OneLight trailer a while ago when it was still in production, and totally forgot about it. I think I will go in that direction. Thanks again. Dan

I got the Strobist DVDs first and watch all 9 of them and then I bought the OneLight DVDs. And to tell you the truth I had a little buyers remorse for the OneLight DVDs after watching them. It's hard to put in words but Zack only gets technical to a certain level. He never overwhelms you with too much information because he knows how important it is to combine technique with creativity. Zack really teaches you how to use both sides of your brain.
