A few days ago I posted some pics of the Confederation Bridge, which is without a doubt a tremendous engineering accomplishment. The purpose of the bridge is to span the Atlantic between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, home of Lucy Maud Montgomery, who wrote the classic "Anne of Green Gables". Here are a few landscapes from our vacation up in PEI, with a handful of Green Gables pics to follow at a later date.

Love 2, 3 & 4. I recall from my visit there, the red clay shoreline is being eroded about three feet per day. Eventually, they will need a bigger bridge.
