If you select the quick dial wheel to select your chosen focus point how do you adjust your exposure compensation in av, tv modes, very interested to find this out .


Canon 6d, 7d2.
Canon 50 1.4, 28mm 2.8 is , 24-85, 24-105, 70-200 f4 is
Sigma 150-600

I believe you need to press the shutter button half way, then the wheel and dial revert back to their original uses ... I don't have my camera infront of me to check this right now so now you have me wondering.

Like wise i dont have my camera infront of me but i think i tried that , the only way i can seem to adjust the exposure compensation is to not select the quick dial wheel for focus point selection

you need to press the focus select button then turn the top wheel.

you change the focus point button back and don't touch it again. ;)

Just got home and had to try this out ... after hitting the AF point selection/magnify button, you can use either the quick wheel or the main wheel to change the AF point ... then push the shutter button half way and the shutter speed or aperature can be adjusted with either the quick dial or main dial IF you have the on switch set to the SECOND ON position (_/) ... The quick dial will not work if you are only on the ON position.
