The image screamed, "Make Me Black and White!" So I did.

haha "the image screamed make me black and white, so I did" thats too funny. It looks great in black and white though.

What did the original look like?

Let's just say that it does look good in black and white.

I haven’t been able to come up with a suitable title for this shot. Took it while passing through and I don’t know exactly what it is. Any suggestions?

Now that I look at it, I would crop the bottom off a bit. You have a bit of space that is blown out there.
