I have the cactus v2 triggers and I cant seem to get it to work with my 430ex. They trigger my 589exII and vivitars with the usual reliability. But witht the 430ex it tends to fire and cycle repeatedly until I disconnect. It does this with both triggers so I'm assuming some sort of difficulty or incompatability with the 43oex. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've found on certain channels they'll do it. However, I've been pretty 'fire frenzy' free after sitting down and working out which channel is best.

Isn't there a V2s that is supposed to work better with the 430EX?

I worked around this when I had my cactus triggers by buying a cheap hotshoe adaptor that had PC Sync ports and synced them through that. Tie a hairband around both, or hang em off a stand and you're set!

I got the v2s thinking those problems were solved. Not so much :) Luckily I have other options, but its vexing.

I'm guessing they're more reliable through the sync chord? Did you still get a few misfires, and random fires?
