Ja, ja... these were announced a few days ago - wish I had the cash for 'em! That 17mm TS-E would be a heck of a lot of fun... and both with AF no less!

F/8 and wide open, I would expect. This looks like the simplified version.

BTW, there have been some discussions on this lens and the TS-E 24L II already.

I'll take that to read "yes I have noticed these actually"

You mean apart from the 13-page thread?

https://photography-on-the.net …p?t=648438&highlight=17mm

I do like how you told someone off because you thought they hadn't read the links. Way to be confident in your skills of news sleuthing though you didn't sleuth out the existing thread :D

2,749.00 pounds? Ouch. But look what you'll get. That looks like one very cool lens.

wow that was a mouthful:rolleyes:

I presumed they hadnt seen the links i.e. their comment was ambiguous, I took it to mean one thinmg - it meant another.

The thread title is , in fact asking whether anyone had noticed the lens releases.

I simple 'yes here's the link' would have sufficed from anyone

As it stands I am grateful to those that have provided links:cool:

oh i'm just playing with you... you'll always be respected here for predicting the 5D2 with a thread 2 years before release.

As in, "you're a day late" and "I'm a dollar short!" Heh.
