DC Shooters first meetup in DC!!

On March 22nd we will have our first ROUND UP at CDIA located at 1055 Thomas Jefferson Street NW in studio A.

This event will be sponsored by Penn Camera who will,be at the event to provide access to new gear as well as putting on a demo. All photo people are invited so whether you take pictures or would like to have pictures taken you need t be there. Models, Bikers, Skateboarder, Dancers, Performers of all kinds. We will have a number of studio set ups and students on hand to assist if necessary. Bring gear if you need to but we will have more than enough on hand. The intention in to mirror the RoundUp put on by Chase Jarvis and the Strobist on the west coast. Informal - Fun - Informative Let's Rock DC!!! I saw that in their website last month. It's on a Sunday, so I can't go. I wish I could. Can't they do these classes during a Saturday?

The thing about Saturday's is that there is class going on during the day. So the groups who have class have priority over the studio. On Sundays, there is no class going on and all the equipment is available for one to use.

One week away...if you have any connection to people needing headshots, skateboarders, dancers, body builders, etc. anyone wishing to be photographed - we need to have them come as well!!
