I use LR and PS. When I save (export) in lightroom my tiffs make a thumbnail when saved but when I do it in PS instead of a thumbnail I get a file icon. I tried different TIFF settings, zipped, remove layers, 16 bit, 8bit, combine the layers. How do you save in PS and have the files as a thumbnail.

OS is Vista and XP.

Ok, how do other people save tiffs in PS? Do they show up as thumbs when you do?

Do they show up as thumbs when you do?

"Show up" in what viewer? In Windoze Explorer, there are 6 options in the "View" menu.

FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
Classic Carz, Racing, Air Show, Flowers.

On Vista I have it set for thumbs on my desktop. Tiffs saved from PS show up as icons where saved from LR they are thumbs. I was wondering how to go about saving properly in PS. Yes I know there are several views. I want to know what LR shows as thumbs but not PS.

In PS preferences under File Handling you should have the option to always save image previews, this may be set to never save by default.
