If you are anywhere in New England you know that today was the nicest / warmest day of the year so far. With that in mind I needed to accomplish two things today... 1 - Get out of the house and enjoy the 60+ Degree Weather and 2 - Take some photos of something... I decided on going to the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, MA. This was the first time I've ever been there.

Of course since it is still Winter not all of the exhibits were open but they did have a good amount of things to check out. I always love going to places like this but the cages / fences that they are in can certainly present a challenge. Today seemed to be extra difficult with the sun lighting up the fencing. Thankfully I ended up with some keepers that I am really happy with.

All of these were taken with my Canon 40D and Canon 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS Lens. All shot RAW, converted and cropped (if needed) in DPP.

Here are some of them... I have more if anyone is interested :-)
