Canon 30D :)

It was a good price and since I wanted a canon 1.4x Extender to give more reach for my 100-400 lens I figured why not just buy a crop camera and keep the auto focus. I`ll also use it for some sport shots during summer.

The neat thing is that I got a receipt with it and I saw it was purchased on Feb 28, 07 with a 2 year extended warranty. So I figured I have one day left I should bring it in to Canon Canada since I was in the area. Well before going there I went into Henry`s and asked them about the warranty and it turn out it is 1 year from canon +2 extra. Te guy told me I have one more year left so I decided to take it home first and give it a test first. I am quite satisfied with it. Pictures are excellent.
Since I have the warranty I will still take it in one day to have it checked out but for now I will hope for a nice day so I can take it out a bit.

Here are a couple of shots.

Err you do know that only the 1-series will autofocus with a TC on the 100-400 right?

Yeah well that is why I got the crop camera instead and not the 1.4x on my 5D II
