awesome pics tony and thank you for the setup shots!

more questions about the setup, i assume that there's some kind of wireless connection between the flash units or the camera? what is it?

also, what kind of pp do you do to capture those warm tones?

This is Lauren a '09 Senior shot yesterday. Thought I would drop in some pullback shots as well. Hope you enjoy!!

Amazing stuff and I dig the set up shots. What kind of flash--looks like a Vivatar. Are you chimping with the flash? Just checked out your website too...great stuff.

Stan, I reckon those are impressive your first try....awsome!

Tony...all your photos seem to have the same feel about them and they just rock!

Your setup shots look so plain but the shot itself looks fantastic!

Thanks for showing your set up as well (and now that you have , you should probably do it with all your shots from now on ...lol) , I can't wait to give all this a try...

....I finally got some images that I liked. The following shots were with a 5D, 70-200 2.8, 580 EXIIs, Photoflex softbox, reflector, and HSS. I had to use Canon's IR system for these shots since my Mini and Flex Pocket Wizards are still on back order. Both images were ISO 100 1/320s f/2.8

Hey Stan, These look amazing!! I really like these shots. Love your pullback, very nice setup you have there.

:D..... not..... thats a pair of 580s.... one one on the camera and one on the stand. For the longest I had a 550 on the camera..... but we do a lot of weddings and wanted the extra 580 for backup to the original 580. So just started using it as the master when doing weddings.....;)

What flash power were you using for those last set of photos?

Hey Rick, those are the original Radio Poppers doing their wireless thing....
I have a warming action I picked up from a friend of mine.

These were all shot in eTTL. So I have no idea what power they were shot at. Its pretty bright when you look straight at it......:D I've done that before, checking to see if it was working......mental note to not do that again. Let the senior look at the flash...... In TTL the camera is calculating the power and communicating to the flash what level to fire at.....
