I really like the last two, they are perfect.

oops..... the second shot in post #1410 is reflector only..... no flash.

One thought -- number 3, looks like she has sunk into the sand? at first glance, the sheen on the water looks like sand.......

Haven't posted in a while.... between weddings, seniors, and my daughter (senior '09) Brooke is going to a Hollister casting call in the Fall. also she was in a showcase her agency does... two weeks ago and got callbacks from three agencies.... one from NY, Atlanta, and LA. We just did a few shots for her bathing suit portfolio. Agency in Atlanta wants her for bathing suit model.... maybe ole dad can retire soon.....

Really Love #3 and #4 Tony although I do agree with the above comment about her feet being cut off by the water. #2 I guess looks weird to me because of the dark hair and dark background...not enough contrast there...but that could be my monitors at work. Great shots! I really love your work!

I don't do much editing, but I do it in LightRoom 2.0

Here are some of my wife I shot last night. With 5 weeks left in the pregnancy, we decided to finally do her maternity shoot.
The first one was shot indoors with my 580exII @ 1/2 power in softbox using my cactus triggers. The other two were shot with my 430exII in softbox using radiopoppers. 580exII on camera set as master (turned off).

I love the last one. I sort of wish the drape over her top was either a different color or white, but that is probably just my taste. Nice Shot!!

Hi pham and tony and others,
Please excuse me if this has already been asked. Do you gel your flash when shooting off camera? I assume both of you are mixing ambient with flash instead of flash only, right?

left camera canon 430 ex bounced with umbrella.

canon 40d, sigma 17-70mm

with an umbrella and that wind? up high? did you have an assistant?

btw nice shots.. l love the night photography.. city lights.. way to drag that in..

i have gels but don't use them but for rear lighting like the blue for flares and red for the cool dance lights..
