Any inside info on this lens?

According to the specs on Sigma's website, it has 4 low dispersion glass elements compared to only one in the 18-200 and 18-125. That may correct the short comings of the previous lenses and make it a stand out compared to the Canon and Tamron super zooms.

Any thoughts?
