As some of you may have seen in other threads, my wife gave birth to our beautiful son, Jacob Scott at 2:03pm on February 25 - weighing in at 4lbs 9.5oz and 18.5" in length. He was 5 weeks early but is doing so well - no need for oxygen - only help with feeding so he has a feeding tube. He is taking bottles every third feeding so he's working really hard on being able to go home! Maybe by the end of next week.

Here are some quick shots of the little guy.

1.
Awww, they're sharing a moment.

C&C welcome I suppose... but this is more or less just me sharing our happiness with you all. Watching this was an experience I will not forget, and one I will cherish. I am really proud to have started a family. Things couldn't be too much better at the moment. I wish we were home together, but that will come soon enough.

Thank you all very much. As far as exif goes... They were taken with my 1D3 and 24-70. My 5D2 is still technically on order, but on its way soon. I bounced my flash and shot at about ISO 400 and f/5.6.

Thank you all very much for the comments. He is doing very well - getting closer to getting out of the hospital now. He just needs to bottle feed consistently. He's just a small guy and tires more easily than full term babies. 100% healthy though - I cant complain :)

I'll be taking more photos as time goes on, but I want him to come home first!
