First attempt at jewelry photos

I posted this in the critique category, perhaps it was the wrong one.

I have a client (unrelated to photography) that needed photos done of his products. I offered to do them and he really loved what I did.

I tried to keep the shots very artistic.

I will be shooting another set tonight. Please critique my first set?
(BTW, this is the closest I could get to the product. My lens does not have macro ability)

Very nice, the light just seems a litttle harsh. It's hard to see some of the charms.
