Went to JC Penney today to have my boys six months pics taken... I know, but wife refuses to let me do it.. (no pro lights, backdrops, etc).

Anyway I was pretty close to the "photographer".

She was using:

Nikon D2X
Tarmon 28-75mm 2.8
Pocket Wizard II

She was shooting in manual mode at f/11 and 125s.

Thoughts on this? Pics looks great and I am frustrated I cannot get the same shots indoors. I would assume this is because of the huge umbrella lights (sorry n00b) they are using?

Canon EOS 40D w/Grip and 430EXII
Canon PS S5IS
Canon EFS 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8

Maybe they are so good because the Photographer is using a Nikon?

Probably good lighting and good post-processing.
