Was at the game with seats behind the netting at the visitor's end of the ice last night. Went by the center ice entry during the shootout to see if I could get any decent shots. I feel my camera is limited as it's not a true dSLR, but I'm trying to save up for one and training my eye and instincts in the meantime. I've been a fan of the team for years, but I'm really trying to incorporate my newly rediscovered love of photography. Here's what I've processed from the shootout.

Good shots consider the equipment and situation. Great timing on the first shot.

Your picture could use some noise reduction and white balance.

Here's a quick one with noise reduction

Believe it or not, those shots were all ISO 400, 1/250 shutter speed with an aperture of 4.0. That's what I meant by limitations from my equipment. Also, noise reduction is one thing I have no experience with. Thanks for the edit, I do need to learn how to do noise reduction. I did adjust the white balance, just not enough on the first shot.
