I'm using Photoshop CS3 and looking for a stand alone Noise Reduction Software. Requesting opinions - which one and why?

Thanks so muh.

Have a look here:

I use Noiseware standalone. There is also a free version (Noiseware Community Edition) which only saves in JPG format.

Noiseware Pro comes in a plug in and stand alone..I prefer the plugin, you can remove noise right in photoshop. If you use a stand alone you have to reopen and resave.....a plugin would be best for the image and faster for your processing.

Many come in standalone and plug-in. Neat mage, Noiseware, Noise Ninja, etc.

Since you are using CS3, why do you want a standalone program for noise reduction? A Photoshop plug-in is more flexible and convenient.

Cheers,

Mitch

I've used Noise Ninja standalone and it worked fine, but now I'm using it as a plug-in in CS3 and I find its more convenient. I've heard that Noiseware Professional is good also.
