As my preface, I'm putting this here, because of this section's relatively high traffic. Granted, I suppose I could put this in a number of sections, but this one won the contest.

In any event, I need to make an audio slideshow and have been trying to get one together in Encore (I have the master collection, so if you have another program and technique, I'm all ears) and I am stuck at the duration of the slides. For instance, I want a number of slides to be up for 1.27 seconds, but Encore changes the duration to 1.97 seconds instead. In addition, I can't go to a slide and make its ending a certain time, and then edit the previous slides accordingly either. I hope this is clear. To say I'm frustrated right now is an understatement, so I very much appreciate your help.
