I'm actually embarressed to say.....It was my first time using my own lights and without help from fellow photogs so I was really unsure on how to set the triggers
I couldn't get them to fire to save my life because I was freaking out and I couldn't think straight enough to read the owner's manual! lol I frantically called my photography buddy for help but he didn't answer his cell phone and I didn't even think to call his home So I used modeling lamps :( lol most of the "light" was done in photoshop, photoshop saved my heiney on this one.......see this post for the progression of it......

lol no need to be embarrassed. it came out great. I know close to nothing about lighting (being that my major was audio in school.) I've been looking into working with bands that I record to shoot promos photos for and wanted to see how the lighting process goes. But cheers to a great shot! ;)

Geez, he needs to get out more often, eh? Oh, wait, maybe that's not such a good idea! :-) Does he know there's a difference between looking "Metal", "Mental" and "Straining on the Toilet" looks? Well, there's only so much that the photographix can do, sigh.

I just checked out your post that shows your progression from the original to the final product...very nice! Especially replacing that guys head, I never would have guessed :D! I really like it, the only thing jumping out at me is the guy on the right's necklace. Since it's metal, it's really jumping out on his black shirt and it seems kind of distracting. But then again, who am I to talk, I could have NEVER done this...Great job :)

EDIT: Not necklace, it's his zipper.
