A monument to Christoper Columbus that stands in the middle of the traffic circle forming the parking lot for Coit Tower.

Very interesting shot - I like it. This was certainly a tough one to pull off, shooting into the sun while maintaining shadow detail in the statue. How many exposures did you use, and would you mind posting thumbs of each of them to give us an feel for the dynamic range present? Could another underexposed shot or two have revealed more detail in the statue?

Thanks! Here are the three shots that I used to create this HDR. First the EV0 shot:

ExposureTime : 1/4000
FNumber : 4.0
ExposureProgram : Aperture-priority AE
ISO : 200
FocalLength : 10.0 mm
