First set with DIY softbox

Posted this in another spot, but I would like some C&C on how to improve this type of shot. I think the shadows may be a little to harsh. Anyways, thanks for any input.

Nice Glock, and a nicely focused image, good lighting too.

I fixed the white balance just a bit.
Added a sharpening layer.
Did some repair on the slide, airbrush and some noise in the bright spots.
Removed the background shadow.

Oops, just noticed the bright spot on top of the slide above the 9X19, should have evened up that shadow line too.

I like #1 nice diy.

The shadows are fine. It keeps it from looking like it's floating in space, unless that's what you want.

Thanks for the input. I wanted shadows for that reason, I just wasn't sure if these were too dark in comparison to a lot of the ones I saw in the DIY light box thread. Thanks again!

I think the shadow is fine. It adds some depth to the shot.

I think the shot would be greatly improved if the Glock were replaced with a Springfield XD.
