This was my first lacrosse game. I was amazed how fast this sport was, this made it tough especially with the night game. I had fun though! Froze my ass off but it was a blast. Chico destroyed SJ 25-3.

how were you getting fast enough shutter speeds at a night game. I have tried night games before and all my pics blurred due to low shutter speed.

Flash. Use your flash to freeze the action at night, rather than your shutter speed. I was at 1/250 which is too slow to freeze action, but the flash froze it for me.

Both good, really like the first one.
I've never photographed lacrosse, but I used to see a lot of games as a first aid person at an arena. Incredibly entertaining sport, even the pros play their hearts out for relative peanuts.

Hope you get a chance to post more...
