Actually, I think I'd rather get another 5Dmkii than a sports camera. Since I don't use the burst rate on my 40D... ever.

Still, it's so coooooool when you hit the 10fps button on that camera. Machine gun city doods.!1

I'm really supposed to be working now....but can't resist a quick comment.
For me, the new 1D4, IF THEY GET IT RIGHT, should be 99% of the things I've come to want in a body while learning how to use my 30D, playing with my mates' 40D and 5D2, and while seeing and reading all that POTN members have been posting.
Sports togs have already noted that using a 1D3 at 10fps, PP-time can increase while "keeper rate" as a percentage of shots can go down when compared to the 5D2, so I'd want the max. fps for birds in flight - not sports.
But variable cropping choices on a FF sensor would just about be my dream of dreams, if they include that in the 1D4. Plus, a sealed body, 5D2-like pixels, multi-slots for memory cards, excellent AF points, etc., etc....oh, it's (almost) better than sex.

LOL Dude. Stop making me laugh at work. I think we need to post that post of Matt's on the Lightrules 6.5 thread. I'm sure the TF lives there. ;)

No. Let's not.

Drama = Conflict.

We're just making this play we call life more interesting.

I'm a bit disappointed. I log onto my computer and the TF still hasn't struck......... :(

Sorry I've been too busy this week to repeat my appeal to the holiest of holies - he (or she) known as "The Title Fairy".

And so, as another burning sun rises over The Land of the Lowly, Skygod kneels at the holy alter of POTN (via his sneaky use of the office computer) and preys - no, that's not a typo - upon Ty "Mattograph" 1D3 via the Title Fairy, saying:

"Oh Title Fairy, if you truly love your flock, and if you have a sense of humour, please beseech us and zing Mattograph with a title apt to his quote."

Now you've lost me.

I meant this one:
https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=7766672&postcount=36

Wrong link (I'm just so use to linking to Perry's Battery thread!).

I think the TF has been shot! He/She/it/they/us/we/them seems to be MIA or AWOL or ASAP or ROFLMAO or AOL or something...

Well....the sun is almost setting on the land of the Skygod, and I'm saddened that it appears Mattograph will escape from having such a perfect title bestowed upon him.

Well Ninja, nobody could accuse us of not trying our hardest....
