Not sure why but there was something about this photo that I liked...

All shots are hand held with my 100-400

The first shot is at F5.6 ISO800 1/200 @400mm...1/200 is what kept me from being able to freeze the action but there is something about the blur that I think helps the image...but I could just be crazy too.

What happened was that this guy and another goose got into a bit of a tussle and this guy decided to get out of dodge...here are a few unprocessed and very poor pics of what led up to the above capture:

It works for me as the head is in focus...so the blur is in all the right places.

I like the way the wing blur in the first shot so strongly says motion.
