I'm going to choice wide lens for landscape. Please give me idea about Sigma Zoom Super Wide Angle 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Autofocus Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras, and Tamron Zoom Super Wide Angle SP AF 17-35mm f/2.8-4 Di LD Aspherical IF Autofocus Lens for Canon EOS. Of course, 10mm is better than 17 about wide. But Tamron said your lens have 104 to 63 Degrees than 102.4 - 63.8° of Sigma. Is that true? I really confused about that things? Which is better?

Sounds like apples and oranges are being compared. I believe the Sigma is intended for smaller APS-C sized sensor crop cameras only while the Tamron was designed for full-frame/film cameras. You won't see the quoted "super wide" angle of view using that Tamron on a crop camera. The Sigma is what you want for an Xsi, 40D, etc.

The 10-20mm Gives about the same angle of view on a 1.6x crop body as the 17-35 does on a Full frame body.

Which camera do you have? If it is a 5D or 1D series, you want the 17-35 or similar. If it is anything else, you want the 10-20.

Another consideration you should think about is that the ultra wides are better suited for "unique perspectives" rather than your typical run of the mill landscape shots. I've found that 17mm is plenty wide for most of my landscape.

I'd suggest these lenses.

Canon 10-22
Tokina 11-16
Sigma 10-20

There is also a new 10-20 3.5 constant aperture from sigma that was just announced.

Canon 50D - 17-55mm F2.8 IS - 300mm F4L IS - 70-200mm F4L IS - 50mm F1.8 - 580EX II & 430EX - Full Gear Listing

I love my Sigma 10-20. The new, constant f3.5 version should be even better. If you shoot a crop body, you won't go wrong with the Wigma.
