Gripped Canon XTi with Canon 70-200mm f4L, Canon 17-85mm IS, 50mm f1.8, kit lens, and Tamron 19-35mm. 430ex-ii. Manfroto Tripod, and Velbon CF monopod.

That's not necessarily a bad thing -- the blur gives the feeling of motion. But you will need faster if that's what you want to do. Move in closer (or use a longer lens). -- jgr

I like the shot, but you don't want to put your subject smack in the middle of the frame like that. There is a guideline, known as The Rule of Thirds that can help you improve your compositions.
