I just found this last night. Not sure when it came out, but I dont think it was too long ago. I have never ventured into HDR, but have thought about trying it lately. So a free app to get started is perfect.

Just downloaded it and thought I would share.

There is apparently a new BETA version that supports RAW files as well.

Thanks....I will have to look into it. I almost bought Dynamic HDR yesterday but could not find a coupon code to reduce the $55 price tag.

Apple tax? - Welcome to the 1990's and PC virtualization! Picturenaut runs well on the Mac via VMWare's Fusion/Windows XP. Real time feedback is nice when tonemapping. See:

I do so willingly. I was a heavy PC user-- still have two Dell laptops on my desk but when I bought the last with Vista......I ran out and bought a Mac. For me the best decision. I know now why their are goofballs who are adore Macs. I am now a goofball (officially). :)

I actually can go either way. Personally never had a bad thing happen on any Windows machine. And am not WOWed by the Mac's. They are just tools. nothing more.

Anyone try it yet? I've never done any HDR and was wondering if the program is user friendly for a HDR noob.

Nice find! I'll go give it a shot (in a virtualized XP running in Parallels Desktop, because I likes me some OS X - besides, they're no more expensive than other good brand PCs with equivalent hardware, as long as you don't go do something daft like buying memory or hard drive upgrades from Apple...)
