Nice set Jeff.

#1 is a great look at what it was doing and #2 is a very nice closeup of the bird itself.

Looks like they're putting an A/C unit on the roof of a new Lowes...

Nice shots!

As an aside, a helicopter lift is cheaper than using a bloody crane? A couple years ago our company had to replace an air conditioning compressor on top of our 6 story building. A mobile crane came, set up, lifted it, broke down, and departed, taking four hours beginning to end. (I took pictures. :D) A helicopter seems like overkill.

Thanks all.

Not sure about the cost effectiveness part but he was doing a bunch of these. I'll bet round trip pickup dropoff and back was maybe 4 minutes. Amazingly efficient. I watched 4 or 5 in the 20 minutes I was there anyway.

I also wonder if it's easier to reach the middle of the building with a helo instead of a crane. Not sure. (I think it's either a Sams Club or Super Walmart)

I finally found a use for content aware scaling....yah!

For what it's worth I didn't do anything other than smash it WAY down... I see it messed with the rope a bit and made the sky band. Nothing a couple minutes in photoshop couldn't fix.
