A cute Bug In Cozumel.

Saw this one on the streets one evening but never during daylight. The paint was very well done and it says "Volks Club of Cozumel" but I have no idea of how many members or cars belong. This was shot at the last parade for the Carnaval activities.

I assume that you mean the overexposure rather than the actual wheel. I agree, but I had both camera / flash units set for a big DOF due to the size of the dance groups & floats with little to no chance to check many shots & re set before the subject matter had passed. It surprised me to see such a well done Bug in what can generally speaking be considered a poor part of the world. There was another Bug running the streets without the engine cover (or hood) and the entire engine was either chrome or polished. I have been to Cozumel several times but this was the first time I saw cars like these.

Yeah, the wheel makes it tought to look at.

That new 08+ Ford Escape in the BG...Called an Escape or Maverick down there? :) ( I worked on the 05/08 launches...)

It surprised me to see such a well done Bug...

I don't get whatever he's referencing with that paint theme, so I'd wear a mask too if I had to drive it? ;)
