My second time shooting skating so i shot some my friends skating last week. These are some of the best from the day. Well at least the ones I liked the most....Constructive criticism is more than welcome. I know about the pole, and the fence in the bottom of some of them, cropped a hefty amount of the fence out. And some of them are a little out of focus, or it was the post production sharpening, that made some of them looking a little soft.

Are you talking about the croping? Also I was shooting portrait, because the guy with the purple shoes, is over 6 foot tall, and I was using a kit lens so it wasn't very wide.

I'm talking about loosening up your composition. Were your feet stuck in cement? Usually if my lens isn't wide enough for the shot, I step back. Cutting off body parts=no good.
