Hi Guys,

I am looking for your opinions on the lighting in these two shots. I recently invested in two 580exII's and diffusers triggered by an ST-e2 and i am learning the best way to light people.

Can i have your thoughts on these two?

IMO the first one is right on! The second looks a bit hot, but it is good to my eye. Both would hang on my wall proudly. Very nicely done, good work!

A bunch of equipment with Canon on it and some stuff with Sigma on it. The desire to capture a moment in time and share it with you! :)

I was wondering whether anyone thinks that the two catch lights are an issue? Should i be cloning one out

I think the catchlight is great. Maybe a bit exaggerated in the first pic though

Both of these are very good shots, but the first is my favorite. The lighting is good and I love the pose and the smile.
