Well, they are on the road again.

Honestly this was one of the best weekends we've had in ages. It's amazing too, several actual strangers (though not really) spending 3 days in a small house together could have gone so wrong...but it was like having friends you'd known & loved for years. We laughed and laughed and laughed. I just can't imagine how it could have been more fun. :)

Anyway, just thought (before I go nap since I'm absolutely exhausted from staying up so late every day) I'd say send "travel thoughts" and we had the bestest time!

So THAT^^^!!

Permagrin wrote in post #7527191 (external link)
well I hate this photo of myself but like it of everyone else...so...

this was our last night together...and we all wore the shirts Marian made us

I think that shot reflects the best of us all ;)

Permagrin wrote in post #7527223 (external link)
we laughed so hard this weekend...I think that's what I'm going to remember the most...it was like the things we did were secondary to the visit...which is weird for a vacation...usually the visiting is interspersed into the things "done".

My cheeks still hurt, lol!

Permagrin wrote in post #7528703 (external link)
no doubt Deb  And he was good. Wade helped us figure out how to deter the biting a bit and Terri had some great suggestions on curbing other behaviors. Though I forgot to ask her how to show me her leash trick.

GA! I thought of that on the way home. I will see if I can find something online to show you.

Permagrin wrote in post #7529244 (external link)
well I figure the photos people will mostly want to see are the friends shots so: (and excuse the softness...I'm still learning my lenses) These are from yesterday...guess I'm working backwards.

Mike with some Chris bokeh

Terri Juliette lamenting Romeo's absence

Cat and Wadeycakes (which I FORGOT to call him that while he was here dangit!)

Those are great, Lisa! Love them. Frankie thought the Juliet thing was funny

Four people I used to know that I saw yesterday, all very nice men.

I was baptized by:
Parish priest when I was growing up:
Substitute priest during summers and family friend when I was growing up:
I knew Br. Benedict for many years, he was a warm and loving soul. Near the end of his life he worked in the Abbey bookstore.

I really like these Mike. The processing really fits, too.

Here we are. Just a snapshot. The lighting was uneven due to the sun coming in the garage.

That looks great Tiff, I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out with the Seniors.

Gorgeous, talk about a picture speaking volumes.

Good to hear all are home safe and sound, now all we need is for Jim to check in and that Zane didn't get smooshed at the race today.

It's time for yet another Christopher rant!

It's been a bit cold and rainy here (sucktacular is how I describe it...) but, the rain has cleared, so Christopher gets to go outside and play a bit.

Getting a stick

Happy and equipped with a stick. Now what?

Totally goofy!

Hey guys.. sorry for not catching up, been pretty darned busy over the weekend.

Managed to clear out a huge amount of crap and fill in the subsidence hole in the lawn caused by the apple trees sucking up all the water.

Plenty of worms on offer for the robins though...

Pretty birdies!

Permagrin wrote in post #7528779 (external link)
I took 11 shots (as a 360 pano) of St. Mary's Catholic Church. I had to stitch it together in 3 sets because it was too hard for photo shop. Then I stitched those 3 sets together to make the one big pano. I lost about 60 degrees of the pano doing this but...

Anyway, it was shot on iso 4000 and only a light nr was needed. I'm not worried about shooting in dark churches anymore. :)

That is gorgeous, Lisa!!
