RoF - Ring of Fire - all points active with continuous tracking in AI Servo. I was in single-point AI-Servo all day, juggling the joystick. Other thing I might do differently next time is use the 24-105+100-400 for less gap; 70 FF and 100 APS-H is a bit too big a gap; some of the action 5D shots really needed cropping. Gotcha. I should try that too. I tend to use the center dot or center dot expanded. Permagrin wrote in post #7583117 Zaney, ROF is "ring of fire" and it means to enable all the af points and use aiservo...then as you pan action the focus point flows from point to point so that your subject stays in focus for multiple frames. Thanks Lisa. I just couldn't figure out the "RoF". Do whats right HERE

Permagrin High Priestess of all I survey 77,915 posts Likes: 21 Joined Aug 2006 Location: day dreamin' More info | today I took Kona for a walk...it was a nice path along the river and people are supposed to keep their dogs on a leash. I came around a corner and was suddenly accosted by two dogs. One doberman and one (at least half ridgeback). The pinned Kona btw. my legs...the doberman was in front of me barking and the ridgeback was behind me growling (ridge up). Their "owner" was further down the trail talking to a bicyclist. Completely ignoring her dogs menacing us. Finally I yelled "HEY are these your dogs. You need to contain them.." and she whistled...the doberman returned to her and SHE CONTINUED HER CONVERSATION completely ignoring the ridgeback. .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS
