MY STORY FOR TONIGHT.

I was driving home from shooting the Heat hame tonight, and I was cut off in typical Miami fashion, and also in typical Miami fashion had a person tailing me so closely that I couldn't even see his headlights and as such didn't know he was there.

I braked to avoid hitting the person who had cut me off, and promptly got rear-ended by the car behind me. Florida Highway Patrol handled things nicely, and even called a tow truck for me.

My fiancee, Edna, came to pick me up since my car wasn't drivable. On US-1 as we were driving home, a light turned yellow and she stopped to avoid running the light. The tow truck driver was following us and sped up in order to make it through the light which he thought we were going to burn through in typical Miami fashion.

We got rear-ended by the tow truck that was towing my car to my house. Now I have a wrecked car, and Edna has a totaled car, leaving us with no transportation.

*sigh*

 and...LMAO!!! Sorry, I wouldn't laugh if anyone was hurt...it's just a little funny...

That must be terribly disorienting.

That totally sucks James. Hope you and your fiance are okay. That is some bad luck in one night in such a short amount of time.

I was thinking last night after someone mentioned that I should put a copy of that last photo of Jasper up on the wall, about how many shots I have done that with. I also see all the shots you guys send to print.

Does anyone care to guess how many photos I have taken since getting back into photography in the last 4 years that I have actually printed and put up on the wall (within 10).

Well, if you guessed 11 or higher you would be wrong, I have not printed one photo to put on the wall (Though I do have a couple in a book)

Though I have a few photos hanging on the wall...done by a friend...I have one of my shots on my wall :D.

I have found that it's actually better to either patch the uncorrected eye, or take the other contact out. I got pretty good balance, but with one contact out I am lost and crashing into things.

MY STORY FOR TONIGHT.

Wow. That really sucks! In a kinda sorta funny way...

I almost got rear-ended by my own car once, about 20 years ago. I was moving from Moorpark to North Hollywood. I had two cars at the time, so my dad was following me in one while I drove the other to my new home. When I braked to turn at my new home, my dad wasn't expecting it and came very close to rear-ending me. Fortunately for us, he did manage to stop in time.

I have not printed one photo to put on the wall

Why not? I have seven prints of my own on my living room walls and two from other POTN members.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
