Wow James, that is terrible, are you guys ok? To wreck both cars getting rear ended in one night, something musta been misaligned in the stars, or sumpin.

Tailgating is just about my single biggest peeve of all drivers bad habits. Second is those folks that signal only after starting to cut into another lane, instead of signaling ahead to show their intent.

Yep, and I got hit by both at the same exact time. Go figure! The tow truck afterwards was just the icing on the cake.

gjl711 wrote in post #7586959 (external link)
OMG... hit by your own car.. Yikes!! Hope everyone is ok.

 and...LMAO!!! Sorry, I wouldn't laugh if anyone was hurt...it's just a little funny...

Haha, it really does seem like some great epic cosmic prank doesn't it?

wow, sorry about your night.

nice wildflower rant.

Thanks on the well wishes everyone! Everyone's okay, so that's good. Thankfully it looks like it'll all be covered by insurance.

DoodleBunz wrote in post #7587158 (external link)
Ok, here's the flower pic that Paula treated for me...be honest, whatcha think? I love it, personally...but....I'm curious what you guys think!

Purdy! I like. :)

Also, I meant to quote on the wildflower rant but somehow didn't. Great pictures! :D

Never really had the urge to go to mexico...ever :) I have a good friend in buenos aries who keeps inviting us down....we just haven't had the chance to yet, but we may...I loved northern Italy, and when we were there, we looked anything but a tourist, so we got on by easily...just talk with your hands and you're a local ;)

Holland is, very, very nice - i heartily recommend it - people are extremely friendly - one of the nicest places i've ever been to...so many choices, so little time and money to see them all.

I'd rather save going to places like africa and india for when we have more cash and time to spend.

MY STORY FOR TONIGHT.

I was driving home from shooting the Heat hame tonight, and I was cut off in typical Miami fashion, and also in typical Miami fashion had a person tailing me so closely that I couldn't even see his headlights and as such didn't know he was there.

I braked to avoid hitting the person who had cut me off, and promptly got rear-ended by the car behind me. Florida Highway Patrol handled things nicely, and even called a tow truck for me.

My fiancee, Edna, came to pick me up since my car wasn't drivable. On US-1 as we were driving home, a light turned yellow and she stopped to avoid running the light. The tow truck driver was following us and sped up in order to make it through the light which he thought we were going to burn through in typical Miami fashion.

We got rear-ended by the tow truck that was towing my car to my house. Now I have a wrecked car, and Edna has a totaled car, leaving us with no transportation.

*sigh*

Holy Moly!!! I would be seriously peeved.

G'MAE all. Baxter had his play day yesterday and slept real good last night. I too have a vase of pussywillows on the table. Looks like they are already sending out roots, now if I can just get them to survive when I plant them.

I am pussy willowless...:(

Unless you run into interesting characters when shopping, I'd say probably not, lol! I've got laundry too....blah. I'll fold and Toddler will probably unfold.

I scared a guy that was shopping last night/early this morn. I was just going back to my area after break... came walkin round the corner and this guy was standing there contemplating the coffee. Well, he was right at the corner too, so when I rounded the corner I almost ran into him... he jumped a couple feet I swear!!! He was sorta an interesting character to look at, but ewwww did he smell like a brewery! Me thinks he needed that coffee!!!

Looks like a fun time Terri! Your sister/niece will love them. I couldn't tell...was your niece in any of the other shots (besides the one where she was upside down and backwards)?

It was fun to watch, some of the teams were really, really good. I have more of my niece in her individual and in her team event, I just don't have them all uploaded.

Holy wow! @ the vid!

That sucks, sorry

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #7586400 (external link)
Too funny, I had only read the first two lines, and IMMEDIATELY thought "I just can't see Terri as a cheerleader, more like someone who picked on them", then I read the second part a busted my guts laughing.

:p For the record, I was a fantastic cheerleader. I just couldn't deal with the politics and didn't play well with others at that time

Good luck on pussy willow planting.

EEPS! I'm sorry Terri!

Second girl from the left looks exactly like a girl I knew in high school! They could be clones of each other! Plus, their faces are fun in this one!

LOL! No worries.

That team is the dance team several levels up from my niece, her coach is the fourth one from the left.

3Turner wrote in post #7587085 (external link)
Oh Terri, forgot to mention...nice rand of the cheerleading. Jamie would be proud. Those dad shots are funny especially the one where they are dancing. I would never do that!

It was fun to watch, my BIL is one in a mil, really, there isn't much he wouldn't do for one of his kids.

Mexico's a nice place so long as you don't piss the police off. I'd go visit just for the photo ops and genuine Mexican food, which is awesome. If you're too scared to try the genuine Mexican food you can always go to southern California or one of the other bordering states, it's pretty much the same. :)

Also, if anyone here is in the Los Angeles area, I shall suggest an amazing Mexican restaurant. Coral Beach Cantina, it's out in Malibu. Really good food, and inexpensive as well!

Malibu, CA 90265 - 310-457-5503

On that note, I was up until 5 AM last night sorting stuff out, so I'm going to pass out for a while. I'll catch up whenever I wake up. Goodnight? Haha.

Terri: somehow my quote of your cheerleading shots got lost!!:( You did a good job on those and looks like tons of fun! My daughter refused to try out for cheerleading (even though they begged her to 'cause she is good at gymnastical stuff). She said no way in heck was she wearin one of those skirts!
