Damn. I hope it breaks soon.

I hope so too. Apparently my nephew next door has a fever also, but was complaining about his tummy hurting. Well doc didn't find anything wrong, but they for some reason swabbed for Strep Throat...and yep, he has it. So we are going to take the wee one to get swabbed. When I called into work, boss told me his son has strep too.

Is anyone doing anything either fun or interesting today?

Not me. Taking care of the boy...well, I guess it is fun that I don't have to work.

sevillafox wrote in post #7587311 (external link)
Nope. Giving tests all day. Although I did sub for the shop class this morning. It was quite educational. They came and hung out in my room but the things they talked about.....

Well, what did they talk about?

gjl711 wrote in post #7587345 (external link)
Do it nude. That should make it interesting.

Chet? Is that you? :p

thomascanty wrote in post #7587355 (external link)
I don't know why, but when I take flower pics, I always tend to frame them dead center. Then, when I load the photos into Photoshop I have to crop so they don't always look the same...

I do that a lot also.

I ordered a 10x20 standout last night. I noticed AFTER I ordered that the right most box is a tiny bit higher than the others. Oh, well.

I did not even notice until you pointed it out.

Well, if it is strep at least there is something that can be done.

Put it this way...I discovered one of them has a kid that he's not supporting...I kicked him out in the hall for being dumb.

Yay! I got my own MQ  :D
Hope it's detected today if there is a possibility that he has it so I don't have to make another trip again.

That's terrible that he has a kid and is not supporting it. Wonder if his parents have tried to talk to him....if they care.

Not probably...you should. You should.

I'm sure no one else will notice....but you will. Every time you walk into the room, you'll see it....you try to ignore it but the difference in height will just get larger and larger....it will always look out of place   :p
Oh wait....nah, not noticeable...that's what you want to hear right? :p

I love having a doc for a SIL, I can take Eli to her and she'll swab any time of the day or night, has the quick strep things at home and she'll call in a script as well :)

Apparently he did make an attempt to give the family cash but the girl's mom isn't allowing him to have anything to do with the baby.

And, it won't bother me that much....I can ignore a lot...you should see my desk. :p

As a kid I suffered horribly from strep. I can remember once my temperature reached 107 and my folks put me in a tub with ice. At 11 or so I had my tonsils taken out and never got it again.
