As a kid I suffered horribly from strep. I can remember once my temperature reached 107 and my folks put me in a tub with ice. At 11 or so I had my tonsils taken out and never got it again.

I don't remember if I ever had strep. But holy cow on have that high a temp and not being taken to emergency room! I had a fever of 105 once and parents hauled me into emergency right away. They put me in an ice bath.... brrrrrrr and did a few other things that I don't remember. lol

I would have fixed it but I was ordering from a new lab and they are really odd about fixing any booboos. They make you redo the whole order and since I got 50% off....well....a little off and cheap is ok by me.

Different time back then. Doctors still made house calls, at least where we were at. Hospital was far off and the only time you went there is if your arm got torn off or something. I too remember little for that experience, but i sure remember the ice bath. Actually it was a snow bath, but close enough.
