just another tequila sunrise

Man, I used to drink tons of those when I was younger. I can no longer handle the taste of Grenadine though.

Toothpicks taste nasty, marinated or no.

 *gasp* and now I'm just typeless....

She's good. She gets ear drops a couple times a day, and so far those are a pain in the batootie.

Ohhhh drops are a pain in the batootie;). I was lucky and the vet gave Cricket some thicker gunk to put in her ear and then you just rub the ear until it gets warm and goes in all the nooks and cranies.

I was looking at a map, and thinking about what else to do with my 17 days off in June. Has any here been to, or know much of Hells Canyon National Park. It is quite handy to the meet, and seems like one could easily find 4 days of stuff to do there.

Yes!!! Been in Hells Canyon many a time 4wheelin! It very very pretty. Not much fun in mid-late summer though. It gets really really hot and is all brown. June should be an ideal time.

Do you ever shoot something with a conversion to B&W as your sole aim?
I saw these trees today and shot them

with the sole idea of converting it to this B&W (I left my regular watermark on here so you could see the inversion to white, Cat, and tell me what you think)

Very pretty! I like!

HAHA! I use to do that to poor Cam when he was a baby.

I know this doesn't compare to Wuudles wonderful fleur shots but I thought of her today when I was shooting the inside of this giant magnolia. (remember her shots of those from a year or so ago?) I like it anyway even though I really have too much foreground bokeh on the right.

Beautiful!!! Magnolias aren't blooming here yet.:(

ooooh ymmmmm I'm drinking our bloody mary that Terri was gonna make us. She coached me how to do it...ooh ymmm....

Dan's gone to bed (sick) and the dog is on my lap and we're watching an old Agatha Christie movie.

Bloody Mary sounds good! and hope Dan feels better very soon.

The children are hiding from me

That doesn't require me to find them, does it?

Well....

Not unless you smell smoke

^^^^that!

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #7614465 (external link)
A good shot of Vodka (I actually prefer tequila)
6 ounces or so of Clamato Juice (external link) (Mott's)
A stick of celery, or a pickled bean is great too
A dash of celery salt
A wedge of lime
A dash of black pepper
A couple dashes (splahes) of Tabasco Sauce (to taste)
A couple dashes (splahes) of Worcestershire Sauce (external link) (to taste)

I have all those ingredients but two.... I have Rum and V8 will that work?

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #7614559 (external link)
Pickled asparagus makes a good garnish too.

Yum!!! I love pickled asparagus!

Gaaa. My shoot for tomorrow just called, and he got hurt in his soccer game today. He's on crutches.
He's trying to decide if he still wants to do the shoot, or wait till next weekend.

If he still wants to do the shoot, that limits creativity a little bit, lol. No red-rock climbing for us!

Awwww poor guy!!! Hope he still wants to do the shoot and I'm sure you will think of something for poses, Cat. Your good at it!:D

I like caffeine. And bottled water. and tequila. I don't drink it a lot but it is my alcoholic drink of preference.

edit: not all together of course.
