Sounds like you might be a candidate for some old toenail clippings from an elderly moderator.

Make me an offer.

Nice! Tigers are my second favorite big cat. I buried my fingers in a lion's mane once *sigh*

So tonight at the Heat game we retired Alonzo Mourning's jersey, and my family had Bruce Weber as a guest. I shot alongside a photography legend at the retirement ceremony. He was truly a great guy, very humble and kind.

I nearly died when he pulled out his Pentax 67, seriously a beautiful piece of equipment. He shot 4 or 5 rolls of film total, and I'd imagine he outdid all of the photographers there with DSLRs combined, haha.

Sounds like a great time :D

One would think so. For years, Single Bergamot tea was to die for. The best in the Tea Biz, as it were. Then, in 1874, Duke Erpington IV decided to go for a Double. It didn't do as well, and the Triple and subsequent Quad Bergamot flopped entirely.

Random question....is it possible to get lens vignette with an 85 on a 5D? Most of my shots from saturday have a straightish vignette on them on one edge only.

Were you using flash? If so, it could be a flash sync problem. This can happen when you shutter speed is too high. The shutter begins to close before the flash fires so part of the frame is black.

I will post some as soon as I can get John to process them for me.

John is having a bit of a motivation problem the last couple of days...

Shooting digital and reviewing every so often next to someone who's shooting film with pure utter confidence that his shots will come out well is seriously a humbling experience. He'll just wait for that perfect moment, snap one shot and that's it. He has a kinda quirky way of shooting, he takes his shot and kinda jumps back from the camera as if surprised, then slides to the next roll of film and lines up for the next shot. :)
