We had some gorgeous weather today, and after finishing some yard work, I got the gear out and tried to get some shots of some birds in the backyard. These are the 3 best of the bunch. Comments, tips, and suggestions are welcome!

A goldfinch perched in the Bradford Pear

A wren and cardinal sharing the feeder (though the cardinal is watching closely)

And I saw this mockingbird in the bushes, and it was spitting up birdseed. I didn't catch him with his mouth open, but I did get the seed falling out.

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

Those are all lovely, even though I am most jealous of your weather. We had the warmth today but no sun at all.

Last weekend we had 4" of snow down here and then the temp dropped to the upper 20's overnight. That was enough to cancel school for many districts down here Monday. This weekend the temp was in the mid 70's, and today was beautiful. Such can be the weather in Georgia in March...

Nice shots, especially the mockingbird.
