Just found this while checking out the new 7MDH line. Plus, you can get 25% cashback through live.com = old style 7MDH for about 60 something bucks.

The oatmeal looks nice. I'd be all over this deal but I just purchased the new 7mdh.

Is there something I am missing? Why is this bag almost $100? I have a top of the line snowboard bag... with padding and wheels and it wasn't much more than that bag

Form and function combined. So, compared to many other camera bags, Crumpler really isn't that much more expensive. Retail for a Canon 200DG bag is around $100, I think. My Burton Zoom Pack cost me $125. My Burton Wheelie Locker cost me $200. Form + function = $$$

My friend has that bag, and wishes he had my wheelie locker. But that's only because I am able to fit more gear in it than he can. While I'm travelling with my wheelie locker and zoom pack, he's hauling his Dakine Sequence, high roller, and a separate duffel for things that didn't fit in the high roller.

It's a nice bag, though. And I thought about getting the Dakine before I saw how convenient the Burton one was.

At least I'm not the only one that seems to have this eternal quest to find the perfect camera bag. My wife wonders why I get and sell so many camera bags. I recently picked up a 5MDH, and find it too small for my needs. Not sure I want to go all the way to the 7 MDH, or adapt what I carry in my portable lineup. The Pelican 1610 isn't in the least bit portable and comes in around 60 pounds and takes a lot of trunk space for trips to the beach, etc. That is where I want something larger, the ability to hold a couple lenses and batteries as well as the body. Guess I should start by ungripping the camera for traveling and see what space that leaves me.

I ordered the 6MDH a few weeks ago, I like it but I found it a little to small

with a 70-200 2.8, 100-400L and then the 5D + Grip you cant mount the 24-105 on there at the same time :(

so I just ordered the 7MDH which I think will just squeeze in there :) it would fit I think if I removed the battery grip on the 6MDH but I didnt want to do that

I love this bag. It can fit a body and four lenses at once and maybe a flash with CF cards and batteries! Great price, too bad I have one already.

Go through live.com and instead of clicking on the ebags link, just do a regular search through their internet search engine for "Vera Bradley" or my wife is shopping for a new purse, and I found that "Sally Spicer" works as well.

I am now debating this bag and the Lowepro flipside 200 as my portable bag.
