I've never had any issues from eBags, and purchased my Burton Zoom pack from them, and my current 7MDH which I have. So, I don't know what that link is for.

Not a good deal. There prices fluctuate wildly and the price have all increased.

Last time I checked, $140 is/was the going rate at all the retailers for the newest generation of Crumpler 7MDH. But I could be wrong.

Adorama (external link)also has the old style crumplers for a good price.
Nothing personal against Ebags I just tend to prefer companies that actually stock the item. Ebags tends to sell then order. They also will just cancel an order instead of actually price matching as promised.

How do yo like the 7mdh? i am thinking about getting one. My Lowpro SR 650 is a pain to lug around.

To get te 25% cashback

1. go to live.com
2. Search "ebags cashback"
3. Click on the link at the top right that should say 25% off through live.com cashback
4. sign in and check for your 25% cashback email within the next 24-48 hours. I got my confirmation email within the hour. A separate occasion required me to email live.com with my order number to get my 25% cashback applied.

I do agree with the not stocking of the bags and sending the order to the manufacturer... but hey. I get my stuff within a few business days.
I like the 7MDH because it's big enough to fit much of my gear, yet a good enough size to keep it partially filled for lighter days. It's the size of a normal laptop bag... w/o the laptop holding capabilities. That's why I sold my 5MDH to get another 7MDH.

Not quite check this out

So it does carry well? I actually hear that most people prefer the old style because of the single buckle vs the 2 buckles on the new one.

Yeah, i saw that, but then my 1D doesn't fit in there very well. Not a big deal. As for the new vs old... I'll see how the new one fairs. As far as 7MDH goes, 25% off old or new ones is a better deal than anyone else is offering.

$60 or so for the old style ones they have for sale
$105 for the new style.

Either way, this is a better deal than what's being sold on the used market.

I don't think "live.com cashback" works on crumpler brand

Im fairly certain it does. I bought a Crumpler 7MDH about 10 minutes ago and the money is already pending in my cashback account.

Hope so anyway :-)

Yeah, I have about 40 days till my cashback is redeemable. So it's gone through with live.com. I think the discounts ebags says don't count are for ebags discounts. Like their current 20% off sale for daylight savings, or coupon codes.
