I seriously need a longer lens... oh well. These were taken with my XT, 70-200mm, and 1.4x. C&C welcome!

thanks, he did get away this go round, but the sharpie was relentless. I don't know if it ever caught the cardinal, but he was still chasing him an hour later...

I agree. The hawk needs to go find dinner in the flavor of a house sparrow or starling. :)

Some of these were at the limits of your reach, but you did very well!
2,6,7,&8 are really good... some of the nicest Sharpie shots I've seen.
