Basebal - And this Focus Function Button ?????

Would someone / anyone, please post in detail information pretaining to the pupose and how to setup the focus/button function everyone is talking about?

People have posted that this may be the cause for soft focus. I hope I'm not the only on confused as to how to set this up.

do a search here on the forums for "Custom Function IV" or "Custom Fn. IV" and you should find lots of help. If I recall one of the more useful threads was in General Photo Talk forum or similar. Also, read your camera manual and you will find the Custom fn screen and the various menu items. If I recall for my 40D I had to change two Custom fns to get the focus on to the * button. I don't have my camera in hand right now, otherwise I'd tell you the sequence. Maybe someone else will in the interim.
