Great event and really nice people. I will be at the next photo shoot they hold, highly recommend it to the other POTN members. I wish I could have stuck around longer but the ice storm had me worried about the 6 hour drive home.
Overall the challenge was not having enough light. I had to open up the lens to get shutter speeds but then that created a very narrow DOF. Can't wait for next time...

Another very nice set from this festival...All nice but the Barred stands out for me. Nice!

Excellent shots Jeff, love your Grey Phase Screech and Saw Whet. how was your drive home ? Ours was very scary about 20 or more in the ditch from La Crosse to Madison. Luckily we wernt one of them.

Thanks, saw whet is one of my favorites also... Yeah our ride home was pretty scary also. When we stopped for gas I had around 1/2" of ice on the truck. I'm just glad we all made it home alright. It was nice meeting you, maybe we can get out and shoot sometime...Jeff
