this was just a bed sheet that I hung on the wall. Some people have told me that the wrinkles in the sheet are distracting. What do you think? I did some pp but not much. any tips? cc welcome thank you!

The wrinkles are distracting. I would have taken the sheet and balled it up so the wrinkles were in no way straight. It is the straight lines from where it was folded that are the most distracting. The person looks a little red on my monitor and the light (I assume the sun) is too bright on his left. Perhaps wait until the sun is a little lower, use a reflector, iron the sheet, and move him a little farther from the background. Keep shooting and posting, it is the best way to learn.

I find the wrinkles distracting and the lighting is "too hot" on his face.

If the background (sheet) was not so close to the subjects back the wrinkles may not have shown up as much. This in combination with an f-stop like 1.8 or 2.8 would have narrowed the DOF and rendered the sheet out of focus.

I agree...I think that they would be much less distracting if they weren't so in focus :)
