Apr 18, 2011 21:07 | #19 Looks really nice, I have never even seen this lens. I feel the same way with lenses I keep considering going to f4 zooms to go with my primes. My primes even feel big and heavy sometimes and I almost never use my zooms but for me the 24-70 is such a great lens I find it hard to part with. I do agree about the 17-40 being a better buy compared to the 16-35. Website

Sorry, I tried the 17-40 and believe there is a comparison, especially if you need 2.8. This is a true enough statement but I find a lot of people justifying their purchase otherwise by saying they wouldn't use the 2.8 on such a wide lens. I on the other hand disagree and would prefer the 16-35 over the 17-40......With this being said I'd also prefer a money tree to come out next time I go to the washroom then......well, you get the picture Canon EOS 5DmkII + BG-E6 Grip|| Canon EOS 1DmkII||EF 28-70mm F2.8L||||EF 135mm F2L||EF 70-200 F4L||EF 20-35mm F2.8L||EF 50mm f1.4 USM || 430 EXII x2||PocketWizard TT5 System||
