Stirfried - I agree with you that the picture is about the figures, but they are figures in a landscape. For that reason, I would be reluctant to crop out more of the surroundings.

Scrumpy - thanks for the link. I shall certainly give it a try.

Kim - the picture was taken in Uttar Pradesh, India.
