Sorry, I could not wait untill my skills caught up with my enthusiasm for digital photography. Below are 3 of my pics ( I hope) taken yesterday during my walk in the cedar woods about a 5 min drive from my home. I used aperture priority at F8. All other settings were camera defaults.
I am a little concerned that they are not as sharp as I have seen in other postings.

All comments are welcome-( I can only learn from others opinions)

Thanks , Leo

Hi James. I am not qualified to give an expert opinion, but personally I cannot find fault with the one I like best--The Nitobi Gardens . I assume that UBC stands for University of British Columbia. Beautiful picture, I like the composition and beautiful colors--far better than my first efforts. Can you give the info on the camera settings used, as this helps me to understand the operation and the results of the Pro90 better..

Hi Leo,

You are correct, UBC is University of British Columbia.

It is also my favorite, however I let the camera do all the work. It was my first day out, and I am trying to get used to the feel of my Pro90 before I mess around. The only thing I added was a circular polorizer.
